The State Water Resources Board provides loans to small businesses to replace underground petroleum storage tanks. The loans range from $10,000 to $750,000.

The state will also provide grants for leak detection equipment and to upgrade containment sumps, double walled piping, dispensers; under-dispenser containment boxes/pans, electronic monitoring system and enhanced vapor recovery systems. The maximum grant is $50,000.
