Workplace Learning Resource Centers

Sponsored by the California Community Colleges, workplace learning centers provide customized workplace learning services for any size business. Their services include:

• occupational-specific skills assessment
• needs and task analysis of requirements of the job
• basic skills instruction
• English as a second language (esl)
• customer service training.

Centers offer computer-based training, online instruction, and short-term onsite training. The programs are designed to meet the rapidly emerging just-in-time needs of a business, improve job performance while providing workers with greater earning ability. There are fees for these services.
