The GP-1 form registers general partnerships with the California Secretary of State.
It is NOT a partnership agreement.
|
|
| Limited partnerships should file form LP-1.

| Where to file | |
General partnerships have the choice of filing this form with the California Secretary of
State or filing a fictitious name statement with their county clerk. Because fictitious name statements
require newspaper publications, the cost is about the same. We have included this form because it
is a bit simpler to do.
